Cool breeze, warm sun, October leaves. Come and check out the color change in action. It has already started turning the undergrowth and cottonwoods to gold. Watch as the aspens and river maple turn next starting in Mazama now and creeping towards Methow by the third week in October. Smell the leaf decay, ride your bike, drink a beer. Drink another beer.

And jumping in the river is the best of the best. 6 hours passes in a flash leaving you slightly sunburned and completely at peace. Come and check it out. I can share my rope swing location with you if you are very nice.
