on the other side and loving it
The Methow Valley has weathered quite a fire season, but we are on the other side and absolutely basking in a perfect late summer vibe. Clear skis, high 70 days, sunny weather to get your mind and heart rate pumping in nature. In case you have seen or heard someplace that we have burned down- it’s NOT TRUE. I am envisioning a stretched out late summer early fall vibe coming our way. The state parks are reopening again(check WA state parks website for park specific alerts), north cascades highway is back open. You do have to wear a mask in a grocery store again….but I am looking at the bright side 🙂 Lot’s of new listings come on in September. It’s a great month to mix business with pleasure.
Smoke is Gone, Where Are You?
All it takes is one day of blue skies to put in context how much it sucks when smoke is here! Blue and sunny skies all around. Fall colors peeping out. Get your hike or mountain bike on. Come visit the Methow Valley.
Hot River Cold Jump
Absolutely the best activity in July in the Methow Valley is floating the river. And jumping in the river is the best of the best. 6 hours passes in a flash leaving you slightly sunburned and completely at peace. Come and check it out. I can share my rope swing location with you if you are very nice.
